Sorry to disappoint, but I doubt that is going to be a remake or port of EO 1, considering that EO 1 is not all that old and also the 3DS can play DS games, already.

It's probably just an indication from Atlus that they would like to make Etrian Odyssey games for the 3DS, which is a good thing in itself. :)

A thread in here? Was probably just speculation.

And as for it being too soon, there is no timeframe on the EO for the 3DS, it could be a couple years down the road. I am pretty sure it's just Atlus saying "We are willing/planning to make EO for 3DS".

Yay! Today I basically finished all the quests, I've unlocked the warp at B30F and I'm farming scales.

Shockingly enough the Wyrm dropped its scale at the 1st encounter. I've not been lucky with the other two though.

I...need...the...Shinryuu... T_T
