Trigourds aren't too difficult, if you prepare for the that is. Just make sure you bring some volt damage to the party and you'll beat them down mercilessly.

And Maxine, I never finished EO and thus never fought Wyvern.
Any tips? I was just going to level a bunch until I could survive the attacks.

That's kinda the point - don't fight him until you are WAY more leveled up.

Well that kinda sucks since I can't continue until I defeat him.

I wish FOEs can you exp! Grr... I have like no motivation to fight them XD I don't even care about the drops, its not worth it.

Main game complete. Spoilers for boss of 23F and 25F (Names too) within.

[spoiler]23F...EO3, if it's ever made, needs a level like this. I stepped out the door and saw like 12 something FOE symbols appear at once.

My thoughts: "Oh Hell."

Somehow got through the mass my first attempt, then got owned by Colossus.

Second attempt took a bit more time to get through the FOE army, but Colossus was brought down this time. Way harder than that pansy known as Harpuia, that's for sure.

Threw a bitchy fit when I saw what Barrier did. Pandora smacked it with Ice, then got a 1.5k counter in the face and died.

Me: "Ok, maybe X's Iceshot won't get countered."

*Iceshot hits*
*Barrier activates*
*X gets hit for 1.5k dmg*

Me: "You two-timing son of a bitch >_>."

I also saw it's other attacks. Anything not named Destroy killed whomever it hit. Barrier, as mentioned above, meant X and Pandora were going to get an ass kicking into next month.

Somehow on attempt #2, I managed to win with everyone standing at the end. Nectalls, I love you.

24F...one moment where I forgot a Warp Wire and was deep into 24F with no way to heal TP and was near empty on everyone. Somehow I managed to get to where the shortcut was and hightail it back to the Geo Point on 21F before dying .

I also got reamed by a Evildra in the process. Winner is me.

25F...well, doesn't seem too ba...OHMYGOD Dinolich run away dammit!

Anything using Charge first turn means some kind of one shot attack is forthcoming next.

Had to do some fancy dodging around some FOEs to make it to the final boss. Saved and loaded up on items of course.

Overlord...first attempt at form #1 was a success, but not without death abound (Counters that make the person hitting the boss take a 1.5k dmg hit in return can go screw itself).

Form #2...wasn't too insane.

Then I got owned by an attack that hit random people for like 350+ dmg a hit and just happened to kill everyone because the last attack weakened everyone just enough.

Me: "Party's over bastard. You activated "Anima Zero hissy fit piss off mode."

I swapped Pandora out for Skorne, my debuffing Hexer. Armed Zero (my Ronin) with Youtou and Alpha (my Landsknecht) with Bomb Axe.

Back to Overlord form #1. I was banking on it doing the same actions as before (Fear/Curse chance to entire party turn 1, Phys Counter shield turn 2, Repair turn 3, and Magic Counter shield turn 4).

...It never lived past turn #4 sadly .

Healed up, took on Overlord form #2.

First turn...

Zero: Dead Law
Alpha: War Cry
Cinnamon: Bravant on Zero
X: Medishot
Skorne: Dampen

It's so called curse-all attack is nulled by Medishot. Joy.

Turn 2 is where Overlord starts getting reamed. Zero + Midareba= 1.5k dmg in total (~500 x3). Alpha does ~600 with Deathaxe. Skorne debuffs Overlord further with Frailty.

Turn 3...oh wait what screw you Overlord. Removed all status effects on itself while also healing for 800+. Big whoop.

By turn 8, Overlord bit it.

Word of advice Overlord...if you use an attack that can lower strength, you might want to use it on people that, you know, actually do damage. Characters like X and Skorne who aren't doing any form of dmg here don't count.

In the post game. Going to wrap up some old quests, then unlock the 6th Stratum for exploring.

Final levels after beating Overlord:

Zero (Ronin)- 50
Alpha (Landsknecht)- 50
Cinnamon (Medic)- 50
X (Gunner)- 50
Skorne (Hexer)- 49

Oddly enough, that was close to where I was at level wise at the time of defeating EO1's final main storyline boss. Only difference...everyone was lv50, not one being a level short and the rest lv50.[/spoiler]

I am slowly progressing in the game and I am now onto the second stratum. I ditched my Alchemist for a beast. The team looks quite balanced for now.

[spoiler]The Trigourds are really irritating:( I cant sense their presence and they are really hard to beat even with a fully mastered Raizuki! I am wondering if I should get my Alchy back just for those stupid trigourds [/spoiler]

I have a small doubt with the gunners abilities. The gunners weakshot ability gives crits to "normal weapons". Do guns count as normal weapons

@Maxine: I have seen you use :3, a lot. What is that supposed to mean?

Oh, LOL, it's one of those stupid faces my little sister taught me when we played on Gaia Online together (*gak* my secret is out! I have a gaia account). Anyway, ":3" is a cat face. It used to represent 'overly cute' while at the same time as 'very mischevious'. Think of or any other anime media. When characters sprout cat ears, it's usually cause they are being naughty. While at the same time characters go cat just to be cute!

[spoiler]DEAR GOD B23 was fucking MESSED UP!! @_@ And don't even talk to me about that final FOE. x_x My Protector was the only one left standing with 3HP!! 3HP!!! WHAT THAT THE HELL!! I was so tempted to turn the game off and try again but I was like *sigh* ... no... he'll respawn in 14 days anyway and even if he doesn't, other bosses do and I can grind my other characters against them.[/spoiler]
