Floor 13 and 14
I'm starting to hate floor 13. I've only found one shortcut, so it takes ages (or so it feels) to travel to floor 14. Where of course some enemies gang up on one party member that the War Magus is too late in Cure2ing. Then I have to warp out and do the whole thing again. Argh. Even with Stalker there are too many darn enemies (especially the f'ing high-defense crabs) between the geomagnetic pole and where I was mapping floor 14. Doesn't look like 14F has another pole either..[/rant]
Sleeping Duke quest (floor 13/14 again)
Finally found the 'hidden passage' on floor 14, of course in the last place I searched..
Turns out it's not just a passage, but a huge part of the map. So, after warping back numerous times because party members were killed (no one has Revive) or ran out of TP, I mapped it all the way to.. stairs? Memories of EO1's second stratum. I hope this doesn't go on all the way back down. I mean, all those maps had ample space for extra mazes..
Anyway, I travel east, quietly mapping as I go, when suddenly I notice one of those bright pink, 'invisible' (on the map) FOEs behind me. No idea what kind of FOE it is, but I don't want to find out when I have enough trouble with regular enemies as it is. So on we go, not going into whatever looks like a dead end so as not to be cornered by it. When I reach an open space, I look around to see where the path out of it is. When I turn around..
What the f*? There's now three of those pink FOEs behind me. I guess every dead end I passed had one hidden in it. Okay, just step carefully now..
Oops, one step too much to the south. The first FOE attacks me. Oh, it's only one of those snowmen. Can't be too hard then. After one round of battle, the second one joins. The first one hasn't died yet. Oh dear, this is not good. The first FOE has barely lost anything of its life bar. And there's a third one yet to come. This is going to be a long battle..
With the Troubadour singing the song of Bravery, we continue chipping away at the first FOE. The War Magus is frantically trying to keep the front line alive, but she can only Cure2 one party member per round, so the damage begins to wear us down. The first one to die is the Dark Hunter. She managed to poison that first FOE, but that hardly helps. I stocked up on Nectars though, so the Troubadour can revive her, just in time for the War Magus to use Cure2. That means she can't heal the others though, so now the Survivalist dies. Isn't that FOE dead yet? Oh goodie, they called in some friends. Those are the regular snowmen though, so they shouldn't be too much of a distraction. It does mean that the Survivalist's 2-Bolts have less chance to hit the real FOEs. The Gunner has only just learned the multi-target skill, so she sticks with firing at one FOE for slightly more damage. Oh, now the War Magus has run out of TP too. That means one round without healing as she uses one of the Amritas. The Troubadour can use a MedicaIII to heal someone else though. Eh, but not if she's killed herself. The weak snowmen are gone by now, but quickly replaced with another set. Finally the first FOE dies. Only two more to go..
The next round suddenly a new FOE joins. It's one of those Helldras I've seen somewhere before (and fled from). It must've been some distance away for it to take this long to reach us. Doesn't matter though, these suckers are bad. Within two rounds two more party members are dead from the hard-hitting Helldra combined with the snowmen FOEs. Escape? Impossible because we're against the wall. The War Magus futilely uses her last Cure (she's out of TP again) on the Survivalist, then gets moved to the front line because she dies immediately after. With one pixel left on her life bar and no TP she takes one last swing at the snow FOE before the screen goes dark..
It's one of those times where you sigh deeply and turn off your DS. Guess the guy at the castle will have to wait a while longer to find out about the ice duke.
Always have a ronin with Midareba with you.
'cause those monster you're speaking weren't that hard to kill with him... and i did the quest the moment i had it.
Well, i've reached 24F
and even with a party between lv 60~65 i could hardly killed one of those robot in 23F... and only one never retire at 70. 3 of them did, 1 retired at lv 72 before going to the 23F. I also have the katana that cost at 297.000en, the bomb axe and the salamox's gun.
Robot are really anoying. I'm still wondering if Colosus can be farm easyly :s

Floor 15 Boss
Just how far do I have to level up to beat this freakin' Scylla? At level 52/53 she wiped out my party. At level 56/55 with everyone using their force skills immediately, she still wiped out my party. I'm now going to level up to 60..

Binds.. Ah, thanks for the tip. I'll put some more points into those for my Gunner and Dark Hunter.
Refresh.. I'll have to use the Gunner's MediShot instead since I have no Medic (War Magus instead).
Volt.. Okay, thanks.
Sleep prevention equipment.. No thanks. I need all the defense I can get, so no rings for me.
