Is it wrong to have enjoyed that?

[spoiler]Testing my skill against other humanoids is more fun that slaughtering defenseless labyrinth critters. I can only kill so many moles before I want a real fight. Besides they could've surrendered if they didn't want my guild to beat them into dust and loot their hard earned stuff.[/spoiler]

Floors 16-18
[spoiler]I love Stratum 4! The cherry blossoms are so pretty, and the music is gorgeous. It is quite a change from the snowy winter of Stratum 3. I mapped out floor 16 and saved Gradriel's pup. I have a soft spot for pets and was so happy save him. I've taken out Shelltors and now Bela is equipped with the Apollo Gun. The reduced accuracy of the Zamiel Gun kept me from buying that one.

Once floor 16 was mapped, I hit floor 17. I was very surprised by how short that was to map. I mean, the stairs up to floor 18 were right around the corner! Then I hit the pits. Ah, there's more of floor 17. And speaking of short floor 17, I was so pissed by that fucking petaloid ambush. After getting my ass kicked a few times, I equipped everyone with Bird Stares and wiped them out. Ugh. With the pits and up-and-down back-and-forth, I think it's going to take me a while to map floors 17 & 18, but that's all right. I love this game so much that I don't mind if exploring takes a while!

I also have the Dominator whip 1/3 open. I force farmed and saved, then went to take out a flygourd. Dominated, Issn'd, Megido'd and Ricocheted the first turn, then Climaxed the second! I opened up another section with a pair o' flygourds, so next time I play, I'm going to force farm and try to take out another flygourd. I was all excited until saw on GameFaqs that the bloody whip costs 350,000en. I think it's going to take me a while to get enough en to buy it. I don't really want to sleep and farm bosses for "months" on end. Oh well.[/spoiler]

I have no idea if the Zamiel Gun actually reduces your Accuracy. I used it until I went back and got the Agneyastra and I never really noticed that many misses. Then again, I also used +AGI and +STR on her instead of actual Armor and that's far from a scientific test >>.

The Apollo Gun is a great improvement over the Iron Saker I was using. I also have armor equipped on my gunner. If I get the Dominator now, will it make the rest of the game too easy? I'm not sure if I'm going to get it when it's available or not (which will probably be soon). I have 150,000en. To get it, I'd have to raise 200,000en, and I'd want to have a nice cushion, so I'd probably want to raise 250,000-300,000en.

All Dominator really does is reduce the amount of time it takes to max Force for Force Skill: Dominate. If you already use that for Bosses or had planned to, it doesn't really change anything.

Ok. I just use it for FOEs and bosses. I force farmed for Scylla, so it would be nice not to have to do that so much. I would also use it for Sleipnir to get his special drop. Thanks!

ETA I don't know if I've said this, but Scy, thank you for your help. I'm glad you are giving me advice with regards to my party and not telling me to use a different party. You're advice has been very helpful.

*Agrees* Scy is such a wonderful part of the community. ^_^; Whenever he speaks I find myself making a LOT of mental notes about the game. LOL

I've jotted down physical notes. How are you doing with the game? Have you beaten it yet? I'm enjoying exploring the 4th Stratum.

The sad part is ... I have most of this memorized but I'd be hard pressed to tell you today's date without a lot of thought/cheating.

Hey, don't feel bad. I always need a calendar for the date. Page-a-days are my friend! And I know birthday dates, but I usually forget about them until they are a day or two away.

^_^; I'm like that with names. I can remember the names of all my story characters and those that I read about. -_-; But I swear, I can never remember the name of the people I work with.

Haha, I still haven't picked up the game in a while. I'm at the 25th floor boss... I keep putting it off and putting it off...

I'm like that with FFIII and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I haven't played those in months. I've been exclusively playing EO and now EOII. I think I'd like to get FFIV, but only if I can get it used. I'm not paying $40 for a game.

You mean our fearless leader Maxine MagicFox hasn't finished EO2 yet? Well now, that just won't do. Okay, you had a temporary set-back because your DS broke, but now it's time to play on.
No Izuna 2 for you until you finish EO2, young lady. *stern look*
