XD
So far, my gunner's ice shot seems to work best against them. I love my gunner, Tasha. She's awesome.

Many things about the kitsune is mercurial, from their moods to their treatment of humans, to even the abilities some possess. Kitsune have a depth of personality as deep or even deeper than those of other Japanese characters. The reason for this, according to one source, is that the kitsune is the Trickster, in Japanese culture. They are there to teach those around them lessons.

X_X That sucks! I don't think that's happened to me more than a couple of times when a game save was corrupted (or accidentally deleted/overwritten by me) but I find that I have little motivation to restart, no matter how much I like the game. Eg. I never did finish Xenogears, and I have a couple of the Xenosaga games waiting on my self, too, but I had done something retarded while sifting through my save states and lost over 100 hours of grinding x.x ... never got around to restarting, and it's been so long now that I've lost the plot and would have to restart anyway.

... and now that my exams are over, I probably should get going with my Yggdrasil mapping. Still on 8F.

On Trigourds...
Iceshot and Voltshot are both equally effective (150% Damage from Ice and Volt) whilst everything else is equally ineffective (0% Fire, Cut, Stab, Bash).

Hexer's Revenge and War Magus' Cuts (i.e., Stuncut, Blindcut, etc.) are typeless and will do their intended damage as they have no resistance check. You can also Dampen (Hexer) to set Trigourd's to take 120% Damage from all types.
Ronin/Protector
Alchemist/Medic/Survivalist

or

Landsknecht/Protector/Ronin
Alchemist/Medic

I confess... I haven't played much EOII much lately. But I did have a breakthrough not too long ago on 8F.
Oooooooh so I'm NOT supposed to fight it. *looks at overleveled party* Wow, do I ever feel like the stupidest fucking idiot ever.
