Survivalist is a better supporter in my opinion. Over the span of a battle, they won't put out as much hurt as Gunners but things like 1st Turn are amazing. Oh, there's also the reliability of them. They are fast and don't miss often! When I think of Gunner support, I think of Medishot... which is good but about as far as it goes for me. Right now I'm trying both and one doesn't feel too inferior to the other, though that's early game.
