EOII Rantage!

Wait, I've said that how many times and just now getting it? No wonder people are still somehow pro-Medic. Anyway, Axes are bash not slash. As for weapon speeds, they make sense but what those speeds work with (i.e., spells) is silly.
Also, yes, Ronins are fragile but they're not as bad as people like to exaggerate them to.

My first party in EOII was
L/P/R
M/G
I had no idea the Landsknecht was nerfed...I wouldn't have used it if I knew. But I didn't, but I still had fun with it. Although the only skills my Landsknecht really used (he used swords) were chasers. So yeah.
Imagine the Scylla fight with this party. No bondage skills=spam volt skills and hope she gets you preoccupied with her tentacles.

Landsknechts are still decent for parties without Protectors, along with a sturdy front-line. Maybe another Landsknecht. Though that would probably require a Troubadour for elemental resistance. With the healer that would only leave a spot for the Alchemist. Alternatively you could just get a sturdier party all around and do without the Troubadour.

So, I picked my game back up this morning feeling kinda "meh" and feeling "what's the point... I just have bosses to defeat, am I really going to be into this?"
So I'm in the process of trying to figure out floor 29 and trying to recall everything I was doing at the time. I'm walking along and just manage to avoid a FOE that is now following me as I go up this hall and I think "Pffft, get to close and I'll just warp the fuck out of here."
...... wait a second...
I FORGOT TO CHECK MY WARP WIRE STOCK!!
And guess what:
T-T
So now I'm standing here in the middle of this corridor, a FOE on my ass, no Warp Wires, a useless Return spell.... and then I realize I'M FUCKING LAUGHING and then I think "Oh, that's right. This is why I love this game! XD "
Trust EO to charm me back into its depths in the most ironic manner.
:\ But it still doesn't solve my problem. Do I continue or just let the FOE consume me and get it over with and save. I'm NOT going just turn my game off since I made some progress and I can now see a few more squares that the FOEs use that I was dodging.
... Think I'll continue... Maybe I'll get lucky and find a warp that will warp me back to the entrance and somehow save my ass.
Update: I actually made it through a door and escaped the FOE that was chasing me... but when i was trying to find my way back to the entrance among the hundreds of warps
I had an encounter with another FOE and it blindsided me and ate me. T-T
FUCK IT!! I WAS ALMOST OUT OF THERE!!! GYAAAAAAAAAH!!
