I don't know if I was using my Hexer effectively, but I maxed out Evil Eye and Suicide and pretty much used her to beat every boss in the main game (and several of the tougher enemies). Though it took a lot of game overs and luck to do so, especially on the last boss, hence why I'm pretty sure I was doing it wrong.

God I loved my Hexer... GREAT NOW I'M REMINDED THAT I CAN'T USE HER ANYMORE IN EO3 TT^TT WAAAAAAAH HEXER-CHAN COME BAAAACK!

Trust me, I am completely with you on the continuity thing. I was so disappointed when EO3's classes were all different, although at the same time I like the new ones... Fortunately I've found a way to continue my thus far unwritten EO storyline that has been going since my first game, with a most tragic connection from the end of 2 to the beginning of 3. But I'll spare the details here and just wait until I've made my fanfiction post...

Anyway, I don't want to derail this thread too badly, so back to EO2. I started my loli harem trend in 2 and it has continued to 3. I liked the blonde haired gunner best so she was my choice. And, perhaps because of her clothing, she reminded me of a russian. So I named her "Commie", a play on communist. It was supposed to be an aggravating nickname the rest of the team teased her with, although now that I think about it I never gave her a real one...

My EOI team was all original, but I named my protector(she's in both games) after Chane from Baccano!.

My other members:

Kuro(Ronin)- Named after my best friend's online nickname; best friends with the Gunner (and maybe closer, seeing as peope think that about us in person too. XD). Participated in some expeditions into Etria's ruins about a year ago (I figured that it took a whole year to get to the 5th stratum, and then another year for Lagaard to hear about my guild).

Jacob(Gunner)- ... That's my name. Honestly, the Gunner is just such a fun class, I had to be it. He's also a good friend of the leader of the guild, my Landsnecht.
Brigitta(War Magus)- Named after another one of my friends, who wanted a character named after her in EOI.
Altessa(Hexer)- Random name that popped into my head.

My EOI party is still there, though: Riese(L), Palme(S), Medica(...), and Kanarine(T), but sadly all of them got nerfed. I may use my Medic again one day. XD

I should totally write an EOII fanfiction from my Lansnecht's point of view, because in my head, Chane is leading a party of rookies up, while Riese is taking point with the members of my old party.

... Rubr, I never realized that, but the ronin I use for Kuro DOES look like a chibi version of Ryogi Shiki. XD ... ; o ; And I just reminded myself of the whole comparison to her and the strawberry...

Honestly, Jacob has become a very nice substitute for Riese as a combatant and a character. While he isn't as timid with some things (Riese was scared to death of the events in the 3rd and 4th stratum of EOI... the 5th Stratum traumatized him. 6th stratum scarred him for life). Jacob, in my head, is not fond of fighting, but when certain things happen, it can act as a berserk button. For example, the first boss KOed Kuro, his best friend, and he pretty much flipped out in my head. It was so epic seeing Wild Shot take out all the FOES and the boss.

I actually do plan on naming my warrior in EOIII "Riese IV" and if I write a fanfiction for EO, it will be of him finding strange ruins that some how bring him to a time, where he could fight his Great, Great, Great Grandfather.
