Bad day to play EOII...

Friggin' Mystiques KILLED my Hexer on the way up to the 7th floor. I go back, revive her, and begin the trip again. along the way, I get blindsided by a pair of Frilzards... My Ronin gets killed . Go back, revive her. I finally make it to the 7th floor... This time I encounter a Fangleaf that used THORN on my Ronin and kills her AGAIN.

Seriously, are Ronins supposed to be this much like a glass cannon? My Landsknecht from EOI didn't evn die nearly as often. D ; I have less than 100 en, now, because of how badly the game screwed with me. I liked it when quests gave USEFUL rewards.

What! Protector was awesome in EO1. Fortify (I think that was the right skill) buffed your entire team's defense! If not for that and the Medic's elemental defense buff, I wouldn't have been able to survive the last boss!

Slight spoiler on the EO2 last boss fight:
[spoiler]In EO2, though, the tanking abilities seemed...almost overkill. En Garde for one, as it worked on the last boss's first form's attack that hits everyone for some strange type of damage. Seriously, it was neither physical nor elemental and nothing I used could reduce the damage done to me by it. And yet, En Garde would halve the damage done to my Protector. I never got that...[/spoiler]
