Was I just imagining the whole naked 'rub lotion onto me' scene from episode 2 then? Jeez, my affliction is worse than I thought...

Phew... wasn't imagining it... thank the gods...

I version I that I d/l'ed whilst it was airing had no censoring; probably due to the fact that it was shown on TV at like 2am.

Oh right, the naked "rub lotion on me" thing. Forgot about that. That is in the censored Hulu version (at least some of it) but I don't remember it being that well lit (or even showing anything), I think they darkened the contrast.

I haven't really been able to get into Lain. It was one of the first I bought, but that's mostly because it's a classic, and my sister owned it on tape. I just haven't been able to sit down with it.
Haibane Renmei, on the other hand...

I think I liked Angel Beats because of the comedic elements followed up by the dramatic, and the fact it felt like a Key work, but did not emphasize a ton of cute girls (in fact, almost quite the opposite...). But I think I'll like Samurai Champloo and Monster more overall.
