Maxine - Those remarks about endings were in regards to Kannazuki No Miko, not Strawberry Panic. SP has regular romances where the lovers go through some difficulties before they get to be together. There aren't any boys in it, but otherwise I think you'll like it just fine.

Time to figure out where the players went to I guess. Kind of confused Riku said he wanted to challenge the best yet he was on the same team as Sena anyway. Kind of weird.

Who the fuck is Sena's QB supposed to be? I guess Unsui by by the look of things but he was nothing special. Kind of a weird choice considering the awesomeness of the RBs (Sena, Riku) and WR (Monta). I WANT TO SEE THEM IN THEIR COLLEGE TEAMS T.T Hiruma's team is oh-so-totally unbalanced (Hiruma, Agona, Yamato, Taka, Ikkyuu, Akaba; I guess Banba is worth note?).

Kind of wish there was real conclusion to Hiruma x Mamori (though I suppose the fact she stuck with him over Sena says a lot) and Sena x Suzuna.

Oh well. For a silly shounen sports series, wasn't bad. Of course, falls into that Prince of Tennis thing (and pretty much every other shounen series) of ... seriously, this fucking awesomely skilled at their age? High School level doing the shit they do? Uh ...[/spoiler]

Edit: Medaka Box (ch6) with cute Medaka is win.
[spoiler]And my prediction of someone using the box for "stealing" Hitoyoshi came true ... much earlier than I expected. And thus gives the cute side of Medaka another appearance. Oh boy~

"The one next to Kurokami Medaka-chan is her most brutal and ferocious dog!" ... such a weird way to describe yourself.



A little disappointed that Hitoyoshi is terrible at Judo after the One-shot chapter shows him being better than Medaka at it. Was hoping they'd keep that reasoning behind why he didn't do anything with the Judo club.[/spoiler]

It's pretty decent. I was buying and reading the graphic novels up to like, 10, before I got disinterested and poor.

Meh, that last image isn't all that surprising. Mion/Shion has a huge bust size, so when it gives that creepy look (ok, AND the artist takes a few liberties) it just looks even more pronounced then usual.

But, yeah, manga-Higurashi is a lot better art wise but I think that's because there's just some things that manga can do that anime will never be able to.

Edit: Oh neat, Shakugan no Shana Season 3 confirmed. Please make it suck less than the failure that was 60% of Season 2. I'd ask for less Anime only content but I'm not delusional T.T Oh well, should be a nice Fall series (slated for October '09) I guess.

EDIT AGAIN: Actually, the wording is weird ... seems to refer to a restart to the Shakugan no Shana series ("Shana Project is restarting ... with a new anime in development") and not a Season 3.

oh and Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu Season 2 is in October as well.

Looks ... I dunno.

July 1st for Umineko and July 8th for Spice and Wolf~ I'll probably watch most of the rest at least 1-3 episodes I guess to see if anything is interesting. Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, CANAAN, Needless, and Bakemonogatari interest me but unsure if they'll actually be good >>. Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou and Seitokai no Ichizon possibly depending on how "serious" they are (or how well done it is if non-serious, in the case of Seitokai no Ichizon); Umi Monogatari if it ends up being relatively dark.
