Does the Monk's Form QI affect all forms of healing or just active skills? Does it effect Bandage, for instance, or Royal Veil and Triumphant Cry? Will it effect Negotiation?

Also, is Negotiation based off the casters Tech or the targets Tech?

It only affects skills with variable healing costs. So yes to Negotiation and Protect Order, no to Royal Veil, Triumphant Cry, and Monarch March. I do not know about Bandage (since I forget how Bandage works). Negotiation uses the caster's Tech and is a very powerful heal, but has some obvious issues.

Form Qi does work with Bandage. It also works with Second Wind... and possibly another Limit skill I forgot about.

Seems a bit redundant for it to work with Second Wind if it full heals.

New question:

Does Dark Ether count as a buff for the purpose of Prince passive's, e.g. will they gain TP when DE is cast on themselves and when it expires?

Does Royal Raidiance count as an attack skill when used by a Bucaneer for the purpose of their TP restoring key skill?

Dark Ether is an active skill like Line Guard not a buff, so no... it doesn't work with Royal Lineage.

Regal Radiance counts as the Prince's attack skill so it doesn't trigger Trickster.

Trickster doesn't say anything about only working for Bucaneer skills, only offensive skills. Regal Raidiance should work, but I can't test it myself yet.

Just realised, I meant a Bucaneer using the skill Regal Raidiance by themself through subclassing.

Another question:

Game mentions Ninja's being useable on the front line, is this really practical, they seem far better customed to rearline, but like the survivor in past games, it's an interesting idea.

If you subclass Hoplite and take Shield mastery, can you equip shields even if your main class can't normally?

Shield mastery _requires_ a shield for it to work.
So I highly doubt that it can give you access to shields.
