Well ... decided to ditch part of the Nuzlocke challenge. I kind of want to just catch everything and try out all these new little fuckers. Still will release anyone who faints but whatever. I'll do a proper Nuzlocke of White later I think.

Anyway, just beat the second Gym of [hide]Normal-types always being pushover joke Gyms[/hide] and I'm pretty sure I must've done skipped something before the fight since I went in at level 14 >>

[spoiler]...but it was still kind of a joke. Hardenx2-3 (x6 for Lenora and her like +4 level advantage) and Mud Slap some before Headbutt to victory. A few potions used but mostly due to Crunch crits going from 4 damage to ~24.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]No awesome nicknames yet since I hit a bout of uninspired-ness but that little Rock thing I can never remember the real name of once I named him Rocky is so becoming my MVP with him soloing the Normal gym and using it as an Eye of the Tiger training montage to catch up and then overtake my team in level (14 - 20 grindan session). Rocky indeed.

I also refuse to lose/not use Drilbur since I got him. Fucking Dr. Claw and cut some bitches or something.[/spoiler]

Edit: *goes to next area* *gets Fighting TM from first person* /wrists. Would've made that Gym even easier >>

So ... some of these Hidden Abilities seem a little ridiculous. Contrary with Leaf Storm is utterly disgusting as it becomes a 140 base power move with built-in Nasty Plot. olord.

...sure, it's only possible on Smugsnake and his stats are pretty poor for a sweeper (and typing and easy to wall and...) but still. That's kind of stupid good.

Anyway, yeah, Contrary is amazing but it is also basically nonexistent as of yet, as are most of the dream world abilities.

Played a little on and off today at work when I had some down time. Felt guilty for being at the 6th gym already, so I started my Black file and got past the first gym there.
