My workplace is the only part of my life where I KNOW it's like that. I have plenty of friends who do know who Lovecraft is/was, but it's not a thing I typically go around asking people about.

For some reason I'm getting more and more happy because finals are almost over and the hardest is behind me (British Civilization, oral translation in Spanish...). It's good to feel well-prepared and calm, it sure helps to gain more confidence...

I feel much better about life. I spent a few hours cleaning and rearranging and packing and now things smell better and then I spent some time in a bookstore!

Feels good to have a simplified, mostly-normal life. Actually this is the best I have felt in a long time.

I successfully snuck in at around 3 last night, didn't wake anybody up. Now I'm eating 4 servings of pitachio pudding and an entire roll of Pilsbury croissants.
