Well, Tokyopop brought over book one (to my great joy, so I could actually read it coherently) to the U.S., and book two's release has been pushed back FOREVER AND A HALF. I don't even know if it's released yet, because if it's released, Amazon is just refusing to ship me my order or something. I managed to pick up a few of the books in Hong Kong, but my limited knowledge of Japanese made reading it... somewhat painful. I had hoped to find Chinese versions, but I didn't see them available, if they exist at all.

Finally sitting down and watching stuff I had backlogged. No spoilers, just tagging 'em.
Lucky Star
Boring at first but it quickly grew on me. I honestly have to say this and Hayate no Gotoku will probably end up ruining comedy/parody anime for me forever.
Was fun playing, "spot the cameo!" and spending forever per episode seeing what I could find >>. Still, I liked HnG more but Kagami and Konata are forever win in my book still ... Nagi more-so but that's probably due to being the otaku AND tsundere. It's like ... win/win/win. Tsundere is double-win to me, yes >>.
Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei
HAS TO BE BAD TIMING. I just couldn't find this very funny. I honestly had a better time pausing to read the blackboard than I did following the story. One-dimensional characters didn't help but I suppose that was their purpose considering the name puns. Not that it's bad but I really just think I should've done this before HnG and LS since both were so much funnier.
...though I am totally creeped out by HAPPY-GO-LUCKY girl and want to know more.
ef - a tale of memories
Easily won my favorite "adapted from a dating-sim" Anime award. Presentation was top-notch, characters were actually interesting (and helped I could actually connect with a few of them), and seeing a guy break down instead of the girl was worth it. It doesn't really have any big surprises but it does a damn good job on telling the story.
It also lacks a harem, thankfully, and is pretty damn depressing and emo, to be honest. Very, very emo ... but I think it pulled that off pretty well and it even had me feeling sad ... though a little less sad than Clannad: Tomoyo After ~ It's a Wonderful Life ~ (After Story too) but I think Key cheats so they don't count.
In the end, it's a pretty well done romance and, thankfully, is pretty short; 12 total episodes but there's two separate stories that share the episodes. Both are pretty touching and downright depressing though.
Manga -- I''s
A little too long, in my opinion; it could've ended earlier and I'd have been more satisfied. I enjoyed DNA^2 and Video Girl Ai, despite the terrible ending to DNA^2, so that probably helped a bit. It did seemingly drag on for-fucking-ever around Vol 11+ though.
For. Fucking. Ever.
Still, it was a good albeit typical with wishy-washy characters, confession that takes too long, and other norms that exist in the genre.
Oh boy, time for Nanoha because I'm weird and listen to recommendations from friends.
