Thank you Snowdrome and Lord Satin De Morte. Even though your posts were not very detailed, they gave me a better idea of what to do with my party. I would still like some advice on my medic's arcanist subclass, however. I haven't been taking advantage of those skills very well.

For M/A, if you feel like there has been some turns when you don't need some heals, Atrophic Eye is certainly a good way to boost the party's damage. Bracing Walk is a good investment in both sense of substituting and complementing Patch Up, though I would say 1SP is enough. If your SP management allows it, max all bind Circles, Dismiss Heal (and Circle Mastery) for the best party healing skill in the game, while sometimes help your party in binding the enemy.

I thought that circle mastery was worthless on an arcanist subclass because it required level 8 circles?

For your Landsknect, Links aren't too good at this point in the game. They really need Improved Link to actually contribute any real damage. I'd definitely grab Power Break, to reduce the amount of damage enemies can deal to you. Sonic Break is their best damage skill at the moment. I'd invest in that and then rest up once you're close to unlocking the Veteran skills. At the point, then you can go focus on links.

I keep switching between these parties because I haven't quite found the balance I'm used to having from EO(I):

Landsknecht + Medic + Fortress
Sniper + Runemaster

Landsknecht + Fortress
Nightseeker + Dancer + Runemaster

Mainly I'm just trying to find a use for my Dancer because I miss my Troubadour... But so far her skills only affect the line she's on, so should she go in the front to be more useful? Or would she just die a lot more?

Also, how awful are these party arrangements in and of themselves? o.O;

The best/my favorite party in EO was Landsknecht + (Battle) Medic in the front row with Survivalist + Dancer + Alchemist in the back.

What class would make good use of the Tharsis Comet? It's not as if there's anything left in the game that I need it for, but I'd still like to equip it on somebody. I gave my dancer the Tharsis Wing.
