I suck a lot at fighting games. That's why i'm going to be putting time into learning how to play them at least basicly. with darkstalkers resurrection. it's shown me a lot, like how i have no idea what combos are.

i think the best fighting game to sit down and try to learn is street fighter, since everything else is based on it. i love darkstalkers though

Well the only fighting games i have access too are Darkstalkers and Persona 4 Arena, and street fighter 4 on the 3ds but i feel better doing it on my xbox with the controller.

I'm having a lot of fun with darkstalkers. I've learned a bit about fighting games, secifically some timing for my specials and combos. i used to press buttons way too slow.

I finished the Triangulum arc and can definitively say that I liked Record Breaker more now than Overclocked. The only real negative I would give towards it is the Fate system they utilized. Also, the Triangulum bosses had much better music going for them compared to the Septentrione:




Consequently, I started playing "Code Name: S.T.E.A.M." and have only completed the prologue and first chapter. However, I am very much enjoying the steam mechanic along with the tactical part of the Overwatch feature.

Finally finished Mass effect 2, along with making a 2nd file in radiant historia after finishing my first playthrough. i could wrap up the events in the completed file, but i'd rather do it all again.

Purchased Disgaea 4. The only other Disgaea game I've ever played was the first one (never beaten) and Phantom Brave (also never beaten). I'm hoping to love this one just as much as I loved both of those (and hope this time I will beat it).

Felt like playing a game last night, so after waiting hours for the Vita to recharge I bought Gravity Crash Ultra, Muramasa Rebirth, and Broken Age. Wow, that's a lot. I'll see how long this lasts. I haven't played any game (never finished EMD ) in months. Who knows, maybe the programming bug will bite again next week and I'll be back working on switching my scripts from bash to Lua..

*drools* Muramasa. I wanna get a Vita just for that, but my budget won't let me. I've only played the Wii version and it was beautiful. But they added DLC stories O_O ... I... I wanna play...

Gravity Crash Ultra is fun in general, but the gravity is very strong, and the maps very cramped, so you're turning and thrusting all the time. Add limited energy and a fragile ship and you end up with a lot of missed potential. I used to play this old XPilot game (Unix) that was quite similar, so I know it could be tuned to be much more active. Good thing a Game Over doesn't mean you have to start over (you just lose your score) or I wouldn't have made it past the first one or two levels.
