Chests in Wizardry 7 are more dangerous than any monster. That cheery BGM that plays in the background is almost there as if to mock you as your characters drop dead from Poison Darts or Guardians.

Anyway starting party is a Felpurr Psionic (For the Shadow Cloak), Hobbit Mage, Elf Bard (To cheese early game), Rawulf Fighter, Dracon Ninja and Faerie Thief. Obviously though this is the starting party, I do plan on changing everyone's classes extensively since its the best way to amass skill points. Final party will most likely be Felpurr Monk, Hobbit Samurai, Elf Bishop (Maybe Ranger), Rawulf Lord, Dracon Valkyrie (Yep not Ninja), and Faerie Ninja (Cane of Corpus).

So i was going through my cousins games, only the ones he didn't care about, and i found a old sega genesis collection for the 360 with a crapton of games. decided i'm gonna try to play through phantasy star 2, 3, and 4 just for kicks, see if i like them.

Ah, that collection. Phantasy Star 3 is quite different from the others IIRC. Might want to skip that one. 2 and 4 are fun though.

I play on peaceful mode, though. I don't think I could stand the thought of some monster blasting away everything that I"ve worked hours to build. That would piss me off more than the mere fact that it takes me two hours in a mine to find what I need.

Until i can understand the phantasy star 2 battle system, phantasy star III has been rather simple to get into, although with so little hints of where i should go that i had to look up a let's play to figure it out (after grinding to level 5)

You were right, Wolken. The last two bosses for Momohime were easier. The ending was rather boring though. I hope that improves once I unlock new endings.
Now playing Kisuke's route. Wow, amnesia, what an original backstory

Kimiko: The first endings that you get for both stories are pretty "ummmm...." ESPECIALLY Momohime's. I absolutely hate her first end, but her third end... well...

Don't knock Kisuke's story just yet. ^_^ He is definitely my favorite of the two stories.

Momohime was the best gameplay version while Kisuke had the best story. I dunno if I said that above but it's how I feel.

Maxine pretty much said it. Momohime's 1st ending is really blah.

Kisuke's story doesn't really start until you meet up with Torahime IIRC. Its definitely a lot better than you would think.

Oh, no worries, I'll withhold judgment until I've played all/most of the story. And yeah, I figured there's got to be a better ending than Momohime #1.

I got Smash4, finally. I basically waited until I, for some reason, really wanted it.

EDIT: Yep, turns out it was destiny/fate/whatever you want to call it. Took it over to my brother's apartment, spent the entire afternoon/evening playing it, and he's going to be playing Project M over the weekend at a birthday party. Complete hit here.

Well, Kisuke's story turned out better than I feared at first. Is it me though, or is Kisuke's route much easier than Momohime's?

There's some bosses near to the end that pull some pretty bullshit stunts, but overall I think I recall that being my impression, too.

Also: does playing the game ever just make you... hungry? I swear, every time you eat at one of the diners or cook the food... damn. Animated food porn XD
