So. I just realized that Phantasy Star Portable has already been released. I had forgotten about it because I didn't have a PSP yet. I have got to buy it. Once I get more money, I will. That won't be for a while, though. Yay.

I am not playing Mabinogi with my younger sister Clarissa. I had heard about it on the Shrine Maiden Forums but the other day Clarissa was like "Have you ever played Mabinogi". -_-; Sometimes it astounds me that she has become as knowledgable as me about games and anime and manga. *sigh* A part of me still hasn't realized she's 15 and not 10 - I still don't know what I think of her watching things like Love Hina. If she ever tells me she's watched a hentai I think I will just die. ... Leave me alone! I've always been overprotective of Rissa!!

ANYWAYS, so, yesterday, she bugged me saying how bored she was SO, guess what I'm playing now.... Mabinogi. Easy, cute, fucking annoying camera, not much clothes customization (yet), my opinions are "so so" but, it will be fun, I think, when I'm up to her level and we can work together.

Funny. My sister (15 as well) is the one who first mentioned School Days and reminded me of Higurashi; I'm kind of saddened by this. She's also far better than me at rhythm games and it's sad and depressing

Half the reason I wanted a PS3 at release was so she could use my PS2 (or donating it to a friend that's about 10 years behind on gaming~); thanks, Sony, for fucking that plan up.

I still have no idea what undiscovery entails but I'll probably pick this up Day 1 and go about my merry way undiscovering things. Or discovering things to then undiscover them. Or ... something.

Rita's (the caster one mid-way) and Judith (spear user at the end) look pretty cool ... not counting the weird fuck infinite juggle sequence with Repede.

Speaking of, a dog with a pipe is unbeatable awesome.

Oh shit, you mean the Black Wyrm thing during Stage 2? It's supposed to blow you away. You're not meant to kill it in one fight; takes usually two or three shots, though I'd say you should be able to do it in two tries ... though getting blown away twice unlocks another [Quest] mode thing for some branch you light later.

A tip if you haven't been doing it; end fights as best you can with an Overdrive (Over skill?) or, when you get it, the Exl Skill Disaresta. BONUS POINTS! You get better items from S-Ranking stuff.

Edit: Also, the JPN Voice cast is pretty cool and this game is one of the reasons I wanted a PSP Kugimiya Rie as Ecthel!

Oh and some other people I don't care about, though they're all pretty good ... except I have no idea who the fuck some of them are (no, seriously, the VA for Rose is some unknown name to me).

Thanks for the tips, Scy. There are a lot of battles in this game, I gotta say. XD I barely managed to stay alive in my last battle...@__@;; Ughhh, I need to buff up my characters. Right now, I'm pretty much relying on Lina all the time. ...

Kugimiya Rie as Ecthel!? I need to get that! @__@;; No PSP, but...eh, I'll find a way to get Rie in my game...>>

When's the Castlevania game coming out? I like the look of the art. Different than the generic art that we've been getting lately...

By the way, what do you think about the character designs for the Castlevania Wii fighting game? I can't help thinking that now, Simon looks like a buffer Light. Doesn't really..uh, fit him IMHO.

I probably totally cheesed my playthrough of Riviera by waaaay overusing Practice battles until I maxed out skills for weapons. Also, Fiaa is adorable though I liked Cierra more ... actually, I liked them all so whatever. I actually had a hard time picking my group due to this

As for voices, they're:

Ecthel - Kugimiya Rie
Lina - Konno Hiromi (Akira from Lucky Star)
Fiaa - Yanase Natsumi (Dunno; I only remember her as Chihiro from ef and Fee from Atelier Iris 2 and her totally awesome DUAL SCYTHES!)
Serene - Nonaka Ai (Fuko from Clannad and I think Kafuka from Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei)
Fiaa - Goto Yuko (Do I have to? Mikuru from Haruhi and way too many others)

Don't remember Rose's but it was someone I know nothing about; I think Ledah was the same as Ichigo's from Bleach.

Anyway, Order of Ecclesia is like ... late October in America AND Japan (actually, 2 days earlier in America than Japan. Go figure). As for Judgement, no idea what to think of them as I've only seen the E3 videos and ... well ... yeah. Though I definitely do see some Light resemblance haha.

I always spoil my best fighter, and right now Lina is, so...o_O;; I guess I'm going for Lina? XD Until somebody beats her in fighting ability. Then I'll switch over to them. Not including Ein...um, Ecthel.

Wow...lots of big names in there...my anime fan-ness makes me want to buy, but....I dunno. @.@

As for the Castlevania stuff, I guess I'll get the game for Christmas or something. And...come on, just look at him. XD

Can't be helped; Obata IS in charge of the character design. Where's my Akari damn it! Hikaru no Go had some nice character designs too ... though a lot got reused for Death Note anyway.

Serene was my best fighter ... which makes sense as she has the highest STR of them all. Plus she uses Scythes and I have a fondness of Scythes for some weird reason. Cierra was just to have SHITGOESBOOM but god she's slow. I actually liked Lina the least but that was mostly due to having crappy Bows early on and wanting to use Serene and Fiaa was too adorable for me to drop >>. Plus, I thought for the longest time I'd need a Healer, which Fiaa fits ... but that ended up not really being true.
