The only reason why Nerchio was able to take a game was a combination of Terminus RE and White-Ra playing sloppy. When White-Ra is actually focused, the Zergling Nerchio was nothing more than a pest before the foot of Grandpa Toss.

It kind of just goes back to what I was saying about the varying tiers of player ability. White-Ra is just significantly better than most of the foreign community. He makes his blunders and drops some silly games, but the guy is good. He is smart and he knows how to hit them where it hurts.

The semis are broken so I can't watch them. Caught the finals (on the rebroadcast) and man, Nerchio got played with. SPESHUL TAKTICS showing how PvZ domination looks like.

In game 2, Nerchio did what even the best of the best Zerg are guilty of: overdroning. That is the game on The Shattered Temple with close flying positions. White-Ra, like for the entire series in general, utilized Stargate play. Nerchio built 72 drones (to White-Ra's healthier 50 probes) and White-Ra came crashing down on his third with a massive army that was more or less uncontested.

Strange is it, because Nerchio honestly is not that great of a player currently yet... he did well in that tournament. With his first game, it seemed like the typical Nerchio who is used to losing. Yet he made it through the loser's bracket against some pretty good competition. Zerg players in general have had such polarizing results. To lose as badly as they do...

Remember when almost all games had some cheat console to unlock either by entering a code or by clearing a challenge? Did that become less frequent, except on PC?
Some of those things even had checkboxes.

Team Reign is fielding RGNartist, formally oGSartist. Not only the #1 on the Korean ladder, but #1 in the world. Now, I know ladder means little considering how many of the best players practice exclusively within their teams or against other progamers... but this is kind of unfair. IPL is not ready for Koreans. Especially not the world's #1 Terran in terms of ladder play.

Yeah, it bugs me. The gameplay is pretty interesting since it's not like most other mmos, but I wish you could pick your sex for each class. ._.
