That would give me a headache pretty fast, as cute as they are. xD I deal with enough Japan as is. :]
My computer in general is very plain since I'm still recovering but this is what it looks like anyways!
Desktop:
The background alone:
The WMP background, unedited and without the sound responsive ice crystals or snow:
Jennifer has to be one of the most generic names in the world.

Quite a bit of tweaking.
1) There's a button with a green arrow thing upper left from the visualization. Pick Enhancement, Colour Chooser, then you can either pick from pre existing colours or play around with the slider. I like to match my MSN and Windows theme. :]
2) Download either one of the Microsoft Winter Fun Packs for free on their website and install it. I recommend . It comes with the Ice Storm visualization but it's nothing like it is now. Install it and run Windows Media Player (version 9+). First select the visualization (can be found under the new Winter category) and while it's running, click anywhere on the visualization to change it. From there you can adjust how much it snows, how clear the ice is and how high it shoots in response to music. Uncheck "Show Logo".
3) While this menu is still open, click the "Background Options" tab. From there you get get rid of the boring winter slideshow by picking "Select a color" or "Select Your Own Picture". I selected folder with just one picture in it.

Winamp has always hated me for some reason, as well as many other audio players, so I've stuck to WMP since it hates me the least. @___@ As for figuring out the idea with the winter visualization, I downloaded it and hated the logo so while trying to get rid of it I found the option to pick my own images! Anyways, tell me how it goes and feel free to let me know if something isn't working as it should. :3

Wow. It's because I'm a retard and linked one that just has WMM stuff. Then again they have 25235234 Winter Fun Packs and the one I had before had everything so I assumed it would work. This link is the right one:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/down ... erfun.mspx
The last one was... Windows Movie Maker plug ins..?
Sorry. T___T

Bah. I still feel like a klutz. :p Well, I always feel like a klutz so that all works out somehow!
I uninstalled my stuff and tested it and the new link works just fine. ^.^ b
After you install that and run Windows Media Player, assuming it's 9 or higher, you might get a message about exporting and stuff. I just click the X and it never comes back again. :3
