I won't kill you for liking that movie, because living with that kind of an issue is far worse.

It only took me 20 days to watch six seasons of the new Doctor Who.
I think I have a problem.

Precisely. :3

Half-way through season 2 of Avatar.
I would have loved this as a kid, but nooo it's the devil and I wasn't allowed. The fighting animation is stunning. I find it annoying that Robin from Teen Titans voices roughly 1/3 of the characters though.

So...did anyone see the 3rd Hangover movie? I'm kinda skeptical about it, loved the first, thought the second was okay.

Just saw Man of Steel. It was pretty damn bad. It was like they solved all the typical problems that a Superman movie has, but then forgot they were supposed to write a decent script, or that it should be directed with consistent tone.
Zack Snyder's hamfists were on full display.

I just got back, and I feel like they did a lot of things right but a few things wrong. They managed to make a classic hero not cheesy, but not too modern either. Overall I enjoyed it and would recommend it to people, but I hope they don't use this Supes when they finally do a Justice League movie.

I agree with all your points and even see how you could compare it to TPM, but I don't think it was awful to the same degree. There are similarities but it wasn't that bad in my opinion.

Personally I thought Man of Steel was pretty good. I was glad that they didn't just focus on Superman and had a lot of other information floating around top. In fact, I liked the other characters me backstory more than Superman and the rest of th story/film.
I'm currently watching The Returned, which is a French TV series based on a film from a few years ago. I've only seen one episode so far but I'm really enjoying it. It's a nice change of pace against a lot of UK or US TV. Lots of atmosphere and plenty of time to see characters, even the ones that didn't have a line.
Finally, omg, iPad typing is awful. I don't know if I have ham fingers or if touch screen simply can't cope the speed that I type. Gah.

About Man of Steel:
[spoilerI kinda thought it'd be slightly more about the "man", than the "super", but I guess it did that during the first part. Felt like a drag when there was nonstop combat near the end, not that the fights weren't enjoyable (hey, gonna knife-fight a Kryptonian!). And yeah, the prologue felt rather unneeded, maybe just introduce Zod, but ehhhhh. Guess they had to say why they're gonna terraform the planet.
The weird order they did things didn't help matters. It made the pacing kinda fast to me.[/spoiler]

Watching StarCraft on GOMTV and SPOTV, I have experienced 100% genuine, authentic, honest nerd chills for the first time in my life.
