Re: General Writing
This is the short piece I wrote concerning a very depressing portion of my life during which I drank entirely too much, likely to the point of alcohol poisoning, and passed out on a staircase next to an apartment building that was completely invisible to anyone who might be passing by. To this day I have no recollection of how I traversed the mile between the top of the stairs and my apartment, but here is an account of what I do remember from that night. Its pretty depressing, and goes on for around 3400 words, so don't bother if you're not interested in this sort of thing. Its also pieced together from several snippets I've written at different times, so the tone can be a little inconsistent, and its never been edited, so there's that. And also a picture I took of the stairs, for reference.

Starfe, it's late but I enjoyed that piece. Thanks for posting it.
If it's right from your own life, it makes me want to hug you.
Anywho. How's it going with the writings, peeps?
I has a question for you. What's your writing schedule like?
Most writers often would like to write every day, but I know not everyone can. Do you write most in the morning? The evening? On a particular few days of the week, all at once? Or maybe a little after work every day? Or do you just write whenever possible?
Tell me what it's like for you finding time to write and sticking to it!

Re: General Writing
I don't write much usually, mostly because I'm not a very eloquent person and tend to overuse words, fear of making it seem a lot like whatever I'm reading/playing whatever, and so on.
When you're alone, always remember:

Re: General Writing
Spent the last month squeeling my tires in one particular scene in TLQ. Mostly because I had certain checks that I had to hit but all of the scenarios that I kept writing out didn't hit them or felt like my characters were rambling or progressed too far (SHE'S NOT SUPPOSE TO KNOW THAT SPELL YET!!). :3 Finally have a scenario that worked! Hopefully this will be the last scene I have to write from scratch for a while to cover up plotholes that had formed in my previous work. Though now I do have to go back through a few chapters and sorta edit things to make it flow seemlessly with the new scene that I created x_x; grrrrr!!

Re: General Writing
I wanna play your game.
As for my own writing, completely derailed. I lost interest in my story. I was trying to write a modern-set, almost sci-fi type story, and made the mistake of reading 3000+ pages of fantasy novels instead.
Hence now I'm wanting to pick back up a fantasy setting.

Re: General Writing
Also, I have realized that my current book seems to be a subconscious homage to Etrian Odyssey.
