I only use Suave (cheap brand) shampoo and conditioner, dove soap, blistex (often during winter because my lips chap EASILY and FREQUENTLY). I have no knowledge of make up. I swear, my worst nightmare is to put me in front of a vanity with a bunch of make up products and to tell me to "make myself up".

And for the little to no effort, I have hair that many people in the store say that I should contribute to locks of love (or they threaten to steal some for themselves). And my lips, when they aren't chapped, are often so red that people have asked me if I'm wearing lipstick and then tell me to never wear any since I obviously don't need it.

*hides her legs* :( I DO have a small problem with my skin, though, and I don't mind the pale look and have little to no interest in tanning. >_> I have a small pigment problem with my skin. I have these tiny patches of deep white blotches that mar my legs. -_-; Have had them since I was a kid. Doctors gave me some cream but it only helped a little. At least it has never spread, though doctors remind me to always try to wear sunblock whenever I go out for prolong periods of time.
... Still... it's never stopped me from wearing shorts during summer. Guess I'm lucky it's only my legs and they are only tiny tiny spots.

*pets her hair* oh well, this is my pride and joy anyway. ^_^

I have a minor skin problem myself, but fortunately it only manifests in two ways:
Permanent, subtle pink blush on my cheeks (with tiny bumps, not visible)
LOTS of small bumps, pink tint and reddish/brown dots on my upper arms.

The color on my face is nice, because it just means that I look like I'm wearing blush. My lips are naturally full and red. I have long, dark lashes. my native american-blood means that I'm relatively free of acne. (I've had fewer than a dozen pimples, and most of them only within the last 2 years)

The bumps on my arms can get itchy during the winter, but I just try not to scratch them. I've had them since I was a little girl and there just isn't anything I an do about it. You can't really tell, though, and I don't really care. It's a

On topic:
My headache came back this afternoon. I bought some green tea on campus and drank it. My headache went away.

:( I can't cook. I try and I try but something always goes wrong.

I've been trying to make eggs over-easy. -_- But, the look horrid. They are fine until it comes time to flip them over... and then terrible things happen. The yolk breaks (though this has not happened in a while) or the white folds on itself and I can't salvage it and... -_- it looks aweful. But I LOVE eggs over-easy. Why, why can't I fix them?!

*sigh* Maybe I should try sunny-side up. Never had them that way. But, in terms of presentation, maybe it will be better since everything's fine as long as I don't have to flip.

I watch my mom do it and they come out fine - ok, she's no top-chef or anything but they still look "right". ... Enlightenment continues to allude me. Mom says I just need to practice more.

:(

Maybe it's just the type of cooking. My father is good at cooking anything while I'm... kind of limited. I'm good with Korean food, pizzas, specialty drinks and vegetables in general but I'm afraid meats aren't my thing. ;-; Since I know what I can do I slowly expand my way outwards. For example, bibimbap can be a meaty dish and I'm very familiar with it so it's hard for me to mess up.

@Eggs: it's what I normally do, but honestly, out of all the way to fix eggs, I think scrambled is my least favorite. That and hard boiled. It just takes the taste away from them. Eggs benedict is one of my ultimate favorite dishes that I was just recently introduced to.

@Wedding photos:
XD I think wedding dresses and veils especially just look better with longer hair. I don't think shallow has anything to do with it. ^_^ Even me, who has no interest in getting married, still imagine what I would love for my wedding and a wedding dress. You ever watch that movie Ever After with Drew Barrimore(sp)? You know that dress she wears to dress up like a courtier, I would want my wedding dress to be designed similar to that! XD And it's useless if it doesn't swish back and forth like a bell when I'm just standing there.

And more to the point, I think a girl's hair should be free flowing. Obviously still done up beautifully. :3 I would love to have soft blue flowers (are there such things as blue flowers?) pinned within the locks.

>_< Aww, look what you have me imagining, Kino!

:3 You had better share details about your wedding, too, in the future! I wanna know details, too. I love weddings.... :( but I've never been to one in real life. ^_^ I think the simple ones in a small church are the best, or ones done outside on a sunny day (like the final one in Runaway Bride).

@Eggs - Scrambled eggs are actually the hardest ones to make due to the sheer timing required as opposed to other kinds of eggs. Eggs benedict are a variant of poached eggs, I believe, which is somewhat easier. Sunny-side up are my favourite, though.

@wave of peas

A very Zeta-esque reaction of XD

@Wedding (hidden for length and off-topic)
Details you shall have! (and photos, etc...whenever I actually start planning) XD I've looked at some locations around town and discussed the time of day/menu with the Boy, just general What Sort of Wedding do we Want? questions so I can start getting some concrete plans in place.
I'd like to wear my mother's dress, if possible. She needs to drag it from storage so we can see how well preserved it is. It's a very beautiful dress... classic, but simple. (High neck, lace bodice. Sleveless, with a dropped natural waist in delicate satin and a small train. You'll definitely get photos at some point)
I think a wreath of greenery in my hair would be beautiful. We probably won't have an outdoor ceremony since we plan to be married in January, very shortly after I graduate (this December). There's a small, beautiful A-frame chapel on campus, the same chapel in which my parents were married, that I've inquired about. I've also looked into having the reception in the Student Union on campus, but I'm still investigating other, inexpensive locations.
It's going to be a small, simple ceremony. Just friends and family, so about 80-100 people invited, maybe 60-70 attending. The reception is going to be "Punch and Cake" style, very simple, possibly on a Sunday afternoon.
I don't have my attendants selected yet. I was able to pick very easily; there is a girl I've known online since I was in high school whom I am very close to that I asked immediately after the Boy proposed. I asked Nathan to be my "Honor attendant" (basically, my maid of honor, except... male), so he'll be helping me plan and all that.
>_>; I, uh, actually don't have any close female friends, so I'm a bit at a loss as to who else I will ask. I have female cousins, but none that I'm especially close with geographically -- or socially, I guess. My cousins Emily and Leslie are dear to me, but they're 3 year older than me and were always "too cool" for their dorky little cousin growing up; they preferred to hang out with my brother, leaving me to try and find a place within the posse of boy cousins that are in my age bracket.
I didn't think I wanted a flower girl, but I'm thinking now that maybe I should ask my youngest cousin, Abigail, with whom I share a middle name (we are both named for my father's mother; her great-grandmother, my grandmother) ... but she has 2 older sisters, and several cousins, that I'd feel weird "playing favorites" like that with.
-____- I'll figure something out. I might just ask The Boy's bestman's fiance, since they'll be married by the time we get married. I'm not especially close to her, but she's always been nice to me...

Let's see. I really haven't planned much out. I know that I want the colors to be purple and green, since purple is my favorite color and green is the Boy's. The Boy says he wants a multi-tier, traditional looking wedding cake. He also wants a reading from Corinthians; he was able to quote it for me. I think I would like my brother to give a reading that is historical and secular in nature, perhaps something from a military general or a philosopher. I feel obligated to include him in the wedding -- maybe I'll ask him to stand with me, and just have a wedding party full of dudes. -____-;;
I'd like to use some selections from Sappho somewhere in the ceremony, perhaps on the programs. I have a book of her complete works (mostly fragments) in original greek with translations.
Oh, and since Nathan is a ceramicist, I want to incorporate lots of pottery into the decorations. I'm not big into flowers, so I'd like to use live plants/greenery instead.
holy crap TLDR
