i'm content with getting windows 8 and then spending the 15-30 bucks on stardock software that gives me all the win7 functionality

since windows 8.1 uses a lot less memory and hdd space than windows 7 i've heard

I just realized this computer is only on their US store, so now I have to figure out a way to get it in Canada. I'm pretty set on getting this laptop, it seems like a wicked deal for what I'm getting. Does anybody here know about importing shit to Canada? I PM'd Negzee because he's a resident of both places but idk if there's a good way to do this.

Got myself some club level tickets for Not So Silent Night. Queens of the Stone Age, AFI, Kings of Leon, and most importantly for me, Vampire Weekend and Arctic Monkeys. Should be a good show.

There's a small bookstore near my house. I always go there thinking "I'll just take a look around, but I'm not gonna buy anything." even though I always walk out with at least one new book. Today I walked out with the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy (Guide to the Galaxy through Mostly Harmless) for only ten bucks. whoo

I would post this in the book thread, but I never read the books I buy anymore due to a combination of busyness and laziness.
