I know about that one, I heard good things, but didn't read it yet.

So, Ameiro Kouchakan Kandan finally ended. Technically, it's been over for a few weeks now, but I can't read nearly enough Japanese, so buying the last volume didn't really feel like a conclusion, and I've had to rely on scanlations. I'm a little sad, but it wasn't really a series that would have worked well if it was dragged out for a while, and what few chapters there are are absolutely great.

I also finished reading Sasameki Koto today.

hahaha Bakuman ending hahahaha

Seems like a general trend at some of the recent ends, like Negima's lol-tastic ending or Harisugawa's "fuck it, I quit!" ending.

The Betrayal Knows My Name volume 3

Ended on a cliffhanger

ffffffuck.

Also not nearly enough Luka. That is unacceptable. And barely any Tsukumo. Wuuuuttt. No way.

A Liar in Love by Kiyo Ueda

was pretty good. Not as good as some of the stories in The Color of Love but still pretty damn good.

Read the first 4 chapters of Warning! Whispers of Love and it was... strange. Not sure I like it. Trying to read About Love but it's, uh, got weird art.

blah

Think I'll pick up Fruits Basket and reread it.... :3 so I can get caught back up and start collecting the rest of the volumes of the series.

Good luck with that, it's out of print now

Then again, it was popular as hell, so finding used copies shouldn't be too difficult

Blue Sky was really cute! I liked it a lot. Didn't really give closure to the spin-off couple, but, meh. That's okay.

I also really liked the side-story with the older brother and the school nurse <3

I had to go into the other room last night to read Tyrant 6, because I kept bursting into fiendish giggles, squealing, and hand flailing. Gaaaaaaaahhhhh such a good volume!!

I couldn't contain myself when:

Also I will say, Kurokawa in Tyrant looks freaking weird as well. I know it's because she did the huge art update -- Challengers is her debut, after all, so her art style vastly improved with the interim. Everyone else updated nicely... Tomoe's freaking adorable as all hell, with his big round glasses. Souichi's got the ponytail and small wire glasses, he updated just fine. Morikawa's still a bit lumpy in the shoulders, and his improvement is arguably all for the better, because his face gets uber-times more expressive. Isogai looks great.

But Kurokawa. I have no idea what it is, but he just looks unreal. If you showed me him in Tyrant without the accompanying label, and were like, "look who it is!" I'd be like "uhhh a new character?" because he just DOES NOT look like Kurokawa!!

Okay so now I have to wait until, what, September for volume 7? Weep weep weep!!! I think Tyrant's only going to be 8 volumes long anyway... wah-wah-waaaaah. Maybe 9. I would read infinite number of volumes of this series. It's my absolute favorite yaoi manga everrrrrzzzz.

Okay so now I just need Turning Point, Study Hard!, and You Will Drown in Love volume 3 licensed and brought over here. Besides Awkward Silence (which is on its way) and the remaining Tyrant volumes (which DMP have already licensed, they're just waiting for the appropriate release dates) those are the only Takanaga I'm missing now.

Oh, yes, The Devil's Secret is an anthology. Meh, but it's Takanaga. Two chapters of the cover story, the Devil's Secret, which is like... wut. And then some story about a student and a student-teacher. And then Before Winter Comes. Which is like. Bzzzzzt fuck you. And by that I mean amazing.

And the uke is of the Kojima/Kaoru subtype -- the ittle adorable blonde puff that always reminds me of FOBW Quatre.

Oh! Okay, I'll work on finding the rest of them, but here's an example of the Challengers-to-Tyrant art update for Souichi:

- Challengers

- Tyrant

Reading bits of Franken Fran. While eating. Although I'm not really perturbed by the slightest.

Franken Fran is awesome. I haven't read it in a long while, though. I should see what I've missed. Thanks for reminding me! :3
