Update courtesy of my mom; he's recovery from surgery and is just kind of drifting in and out with a death-grip on his cell phone ^__^;; that's so him

and looks like he was with his boyfriend when he got hit -- how awful. I'd be a screaming mess if Mr Kino got hit by a car right in front of me

My mom says he broke both bones in his left leg and they've set them with metal rods -- he and I are metal-bone twinkies now! (I have a metal plate in my arm). The break is right where the bumper hit him. He apparently did a flying somersault over the car and broke off its passenger mirror.

His wrist is just sprained, not broken. He'll be up on crutches in a few days and get to go home. ;____;

His poor boyfriend, that would be so traumatic! And at least he did some damage to the car, right? :3 And going home soon is good.

Oh shit! Canucks vs Wild game tonight! And I'm not there! And it's all my fault, too. I wasn't paying attention yesterday and my roommate sold off tonight's tickets because he thought I wasn't interested.

And it's shaping up to be quite a game already, only half way through the first period.

EDIT: Dammit!! 3-1 Wild already with a minute left in the first! booooooo

I am not a sports person AT ALL, but I absolutely love going to hockey games. Most live sporting matches are fun, actually.

I live like 15 minutes away from both an NHL stadium (the Ducks) and an MLB stadium (the Angels) and I never found it to be worth the money
