Youtube updates and a miny rant

So, I just wanted to let you guys know that even though I do not post it on the main site, I've constantly been updating the youtube channel since its launch. I'm still not done, either.

Now this next part is just me griping about something, so you can ignore it. It's a rant. I like to do these occasionally. It holds no real value. In fact, I've place it under the cut.

*Deep breathe* So, I've been working on trying to get actual CONTENT up on the site. You know, cheats and things that should have already been up. My time is limited but I've been making serious sacrifices. Such as, it's Sunday, I woke up at 7:30, it's now 11:30, and I've not even gotten out of bed, but have been typing away on my laptop here.

I was checking a wikipedia source for something, when I saw that someone had posted up a page for EO3, so I wanted to check it out. I saw that they had translated the game's title differently than what I've posted on the website.

I've actually never bothered to verify the title. So I felt that I should. I loaded up google, clicked on language tools, and plugged in the Japanese text: "世界樹の迷宮Ⅲ　星海の来訪者"

You want to know what I got back? "Etrian Odyssey of the Sea Star Ⅲ visitors"

Garbled of course but rearranged it's (using some genuine guesswork and intellect): Etrian Odyssey III Visitors of the Starry Ocean.

Then I realized... waiiiiiit... what the hell... Etrian Odyssey?? Etrian Odyssey. It gave me back Etrian Odyssey for "世界樹の迷宮". ... "世界樹の迷宮" translates properly out to Yggdrasil Labyrinth, or in garbled google it should be "Labyrinth of World Tree."

I want to know who the heck brainlessly thought it would be a good idea to put in "Etrian Odyssey" for 世界樹の迷宮?!! That is NOT the translation. It's not even CLOSE to the proper translation! Sure, that is the english title of the game, but when I go to google and type something into their translation box I'm NOT looking for english comparison. I'm looking for TRANSLATION!!

So, yeah, I feel even more now deep, deep inside that the google translator is just officially a waste of space and a piece of inaccurate junk.

*Deep breathe* I'm fine. I just had to get that out of my system and to try to let you guys know about it.
